District Court Allahabad
District Court Allahabad was established in 1803 near Yamuna Christian College, Allahabad.
The present Court complex was established in 1870, two years after the establishment of Allahabad High Court in 1868.
The Session court has the power to exercise the sessions trial committed by the criminal courts. In addition to the session courts there are fifteen additional session courts.
There are three special courts namely Special Court (SC/ST Act), Special Court (E.C. Act) and Fast track Court.
There are the courts of a Chief Judicial Magistrate, Special Chief Judicial Magistrate, twelve Additional Chief Judicial Magistrates including Railway Magistrate and four Judicial Magistrates to deal in criminal cases.
The district judges's court is formed appellate court of civil cases. there are fifteen additional District Judges's courts in addition.
Civil judges(S.D.)'s and Civil Judges(J.D.)'s courts are parental courts of civil cases depending on the valuation of cases.
There are additional Civil Judges (S.D.)'s courts and additional Civil Judges (J.D.)'s courts in addition to above courts.
